We turn denim waste into a colour resource.

Infinity Blue is a start-up pioneering indigo recycling for the denim industry. Our innovation is a 100% natural, non-toxic circular solution to recycle indigo from denim waste for reuse.

We all wear denim.

3 billion pairs of jeans are produced every year globally. Have you ever thought about what creates the iconic denim blue we all love? It’s indigo.

Not the plant, but synthetic indigo, a fossil fuel pigment - and one of the highest contributors of carbon emissions in denim production. This pigment is in 99% of our jeans, and is toxic to produce for both people and planet.

2.5 millions tonnes of denim are discarded each year globally.

The equivalent of 500 million pairs of jeans are landfilled or incinerated every year globally, and in this discarded denim there is 30 000 tonnes of synthetic indigo - half of one year’s synthetic indigo production. We don’t need to produce more synthetic indigo pigment, we can just recycle it from denim waste.
